A: Self-pay therapy gives you full control over your care. You can schedule appointments freely, avoid session caps, and maintain privacy without submitting sensitive mental health information to an insurance company. It also allows for longer, personalized sessions and flexible frequency, so your therapy meets your unique needs rather than what a plan allows. Many clients find self-pay feels like an investment in themselves, creating space for deeper, more consistent growth.
-
A: My standard self-pay rate is $180 per session. The intake (initial appointment) is $205. This rate reflects my experience, trainings, and my authentic approach to therapy. I provide across a variety of needs—including TTC, pregnancy, postpartum transitions, ongoing parenting support, anxiety, OCD, and support for therapists and helping professionals.
-
A: Yes! I can provide a superbill for out-of-network insurance reimbursement. If you want to use insurance, please reach out first so we can confirm your coverage and discuss the process. That said, self-pay is the preferred method because it ensures sessions remain private, flexible, and focused on your goals without limitations from insurance.
-

If you are not using insurance for therapy services, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the new federal law, health care providers are to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
• You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
• If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
• Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
An example estimate for our services would be around $9,360 or $180 per week for 52 weeks. This is the maximum amount someone would be billed if being seen one time a week for 52 weeks.
